Use empty film canisters to store beads, jewelry findings, etc.. You can glue one of the content items on the lid of canister. Works great.

If you can find them they are great. I like the white test strip containers for my things...esp' quarters. But if you are not a photographer or a diabetic, you can purchase medicine bottles at any pharmacy now.
And because they are see through, you don't have to label them.
