Does anyone have a recipe for bean cakes?

Bean Cakes are similar to potato cakes which are similar to fried cornbread. I think the recipe would be like potato cakes substituting the potatoes with the beans, but I wanted to see if anyone makes these. My grandmother made them when I was a child and I haven't had them since.
