Wildlife: Antelope

We live in a rural area with antelope. This is one of a set of twins. We went over to look at them and this little one came right towards us.

She laid down right by our car. I had the camera so I could get pics of the twins, never thinking how fortunate I was going to be! I got out of the car and snapped a picture. Then I walked closer until she was right below my feet and got this lovely picture of her.

I got worried that being right alongside the road, she might get run over. So, I reached over and just so barely touched her, aiming her towards her mommy. It was like touching velvet!

I felt honored to touch a little bit of Heaven that day.

I stand in awe. The only time I got to touch any like animal was a reindeer in a petting zoo, 35 years ago. Sigh. I think I'm jealous!
