Flowers That Don't Attract Bees?

Does anyone know what type of flowers I can plant around the front of my house that won't attract bees?

If you have flowers you will always have bees. The bees pollinate the flowers so they will bloom next year. Bees also make honey from the flowers. They won't hurt you unless pester them.

Thanks for reply! I read they don't like certain flowers, such as color red(can't see red flowers) Don't remember the other colors.

Bees are partial to bright colors - reds, yellows, oranges, pinks. Some astilbe's are very muted. Flowers in the blue range might work.

Usually it's the other way around - so maybe look up what attracts them, and plant for the opposite characteristics.
