Monster (Pit Bull)

I got my baby in October 2010. Monster is now 5 months old. My boyfriend's friend's Pit Bull had 10 puppies, and we took him off her hands. It was the best decision of my life. Monster (Pit Bull)

Monster (Pit Bull)

He eats my slippers and follows me everywhere. Monster is my whole world. He always makes me smile. He is a hyper dog, yet knows when to relax. He loves to run around like crazy and eat slippers. He is the most friendly dog I have ever known.

Monster is adorable! What a great picture. I did want to warn you to be careful if you're using that choke chain as a collar as there have been many dogs who have been choked to death when they catch on something (plus they tend to encourage pit bulls to pull). I use a Martingale collar. They're made from leather or fabric with a loop of chain, so they're much safer, but gives you the same control.

Oh, I love those ears! He is really a cute dog. Be sure to post him again after he has grown up, maybe next fall.

He looks like he's going to be a very handsome boy when he grows up, I'd like to see his photo then too.

OMG What a cutie! Ditch that choke chain and only use it when you are walking him. Use a nice grow collar for now.

OMG! Thanks for sharing pix of your beautiful baby. How cute is he?
I will add to what cs_jag said: dogs can and will get their collars caught on things, sometimes with tragic results. My "monster" doesn't wear one at home at all, just when he is out and supervised.

Looks like a red nosed in one but a blue nosed in the other. Can't tell with the pics but you defiantly got a gorgeous pit!

Erin - I just love the way you talk about "Monster". You take the words right out of my mouth about my Snoopy! We've become so close and at first I was SO skeptical about even taking her in as an abandoned puppy! Wow did I make the right decision - she has been an absolute JOY in my life and couldn't imagine being without her - thanks for letting me know there are others in the world of pit owners who feel just the way I do about my girl!
