Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion or dehydrated chopped onion
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes (1 lb. each)
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • small amount water
  • 2 Tbsp. dehydrated pepper flakes
  • 1 small can mushrooms, chopped
  • 20 oz. pkg. mostaccioli*
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. salt (or to taste)
  • pepper, to taste

*Mostaccioli is a pasta shape similar to penne. It is smooth instead of having ridges like penne.

Directions

Brown meat and onion. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Add to tomato paste, soup, and a little water at a time. Let simmer slowly until sauce thickens. Cut cheese into small pieces; add to sauce. Cook noodles; drain and blanch. Add to sauce in large pan. Fills 2 (9x13 inch) glass pans. Heat in 350 degree F oven until bubbly, about 1 hour.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. mostaccioli pasta
  • 2 cans pizza sauce
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Cook pasta; drain. Add pizza sauce and pepper. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.
