Crescent Bake

This recipe has been made a number of times and I'm getting rave reviews for it! It is very family friendly and everyone always asks for the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (cooked)
  • 1 can sloppy joe mix (heinz or manwich)
  • 3 cups of Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans of Crescent Rolls

Directions

Line bottom of casserole dish with one package of unrolled crescent rolls. Cook beef and mix with sloppy joe mix. Put cooled beef mixture on top of crescent rolls.

Next put on the cheese and cover with the last package of crescent rolls. Bake at 350 degrees F until done, no longer than 45 minutes. In my oven it takes about 30 minutes!

ARE YOU SURE YOU MEAN UNROLLED ROLLS? I AM AFRAID TO TRY IT - THAT IS A MIGHTY BIG LUMP OF DOUGH. SEEMS LIKE YOU WOULD ROLL IT OUT IN THE PAN.

we make this too and call it upside down pizza. but we add pizza sauce to our hamburger and use mozerella cheese instead, adding our cheese on top of this mixture then 1 can cresent rolls. but no matter how you fix it, it's always good to the last bite

Wouldn't "rolled" be a lump? And wouldn't "unrolled" be spread out?

PEOPLE...CRESENTS COMES IN A ROLL(CAN). YOU OPEN THE PACKAGE AND "UN" ROLL THEM AND PUT THEM IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN OR ON TOP OF THE FOOD HOWEVER THE RECIPE CALLS FOR
