Does anybody know if an eggless chocolate mayonnaise cake will freeze? It's very hot in my country at the moment and since I don't have air conditioning, turning on my oven makes my kitchen into a furnace! If I'm going to make a cake, I would rather make two large ones and freeze them. If they do freeze, for how long? Thank you.

Thanks, MCW. the link you gave me says its ok for homemade chocolate cake to be frozen. I'm assuming that having mayo in the cake makes no difference and that it can be frozen safely.
