Making Sunflowers from Inexpensive or Recycled Household Items?

Does anyone have ideas on making sunflowers from things found at a thrift shop or maybe things found laying around the house? I'd rather use inexpensive ways rather than expensive ones because I'm on a budget and can't afford to buy them new.
