There is no need to buy expensive hair rinses. Just rinse your hair with a solution of either lemon juice or vinegar mixed with about 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Pour it through your hair, let it stay for a few minutes, and rinse it out. This will help remove any soap scum, too, and it will leave your hair shiny and healthy looking. Good luck.
Baking soda is what you need.
The easiest way to use it is to put about a teaspoon of baking soda in the palm of your hand, then add your shampoo.
I like a little baking soda mixed into a bit of clarifying shampoo (suave is good) then finish with a 1/4 cup vinegar in a quart jar of wamr water as the final rinse. (the vinegar smell vanishes as your hair dries.) Use a tiny tiny bit of leave in conditioner afterward, just for managability.
