Recipe Needed for Fabreeze?

I volunteer at a thrift shop that benefits abused women and children. We are in need of a recipe to make Fabreeze. We use quite a bit and this gets expensive.

Not sure if you are close to any $1 store or Dollar Tree store but they have a GREAT "Fabric refresh" spray that I LOVE. It smells tropical and then fades away... for only....$1 Good Luck....

Well one thing you can try is get a dryer sheet and put it in a spray bottle and put water in it. It works good.

My recipe is 1 capfull of Downy fabric softener to 32 oz. spray bottle, fill the rest with water, leave room to shake spray bottle before each use. Leaves a nice subtle smell.

i know that buying fabreeze is really expensive. What i do is get an empty fabreeze bottle fill about a quater of it with your favourite fabric conditioner and then fill the rest of the bottle with cold water, shake well then squirt away.

My neighbour always comments on how fabulous my house smells, i have just told her my secret and now she is doing the same.
Hope this goes well for you, it works for me.

A wonderful dirt cheap alternative to buying a $5 bottle of Febreze. This version is about 5 cents to make and the scent is much nicer too. I use it all the time.

1 1/2-4 tablespoons ultra downy clean breeze fabric softener
25 ounces water
32 ounces spray bottle, new and clean (please don't re-use a cleaning product bottle unless it is an old Febreeze bottle)

Both Family Dollar and Dollar General have the
Febreze-type fabric refreshers for $1.50. They're
both great!
