Have Older Kids Help Plan Their Own Party

If you have kids, listen to this tip. When planning a party, it can get very stressful. The parents always feel pressured, and think that they have to do all the work preparing and planning it. They don't always realize that sometimes the kid wants to help with it or plan the party.

When children are older, starting at around 11, than they want to be the ones to do the planning. If they do, then you are letting them be part of it and learning something about it.

The main thing I am trying to say is don't feel pressure when planning a party. Let the kids be part of it and enjoy it. You may think that they will over do it or something, but that's when you give them a few rules about planning the party. It is easier to let them be part of it than for you to do it all. The party will be better and you will feel better.
