Garlic and Red Pepper Pasta

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 846 Posts

I know this probably sounds like a crazy thing to have for breakfast to most people but that's what I did this morning and I just had the re-heated leftovers for lunch with a slice of French bread and unsalted butter.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. uncooked angel hair pasta
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook al dente according to package directions; drain and place on serving plates.

Meanwhile, heat a small saucepan over low heat. Add olive oil, garlic, and red peppers; simmer. Pour olive oil mixture immediately over cooked and drained pasta, garnish with Parmesan and serve.

It's not a weird thing to eat for breakfast! I have eaten hot dogs even ramen noodle. I make something like this for dinner I also add a little onion or basil to it taste great.
