Pet stores sell dried beef knee caps for about 1 or 2 dollars each. I bought one for my cat to try (even though they are made for dogs). At first he liked it, but after about a half hour of work (it takes work to get any meat) he lost interest, but I'm sure a dog would just LOVE these tasty treats!

My baby Sheba, a 65 pound lab/retriever loves apples. I slice them in bite size chunks and she gobbles them up.

She also a sensitive stomach. I asked her vet and she said no problem just notmore than 1 or 2 a day.

I have a Rott/Shepard/Border Collie mix (a crazy blond "bomber") who is just over a year old. She doesn't have a sensitive stomach, but the other day at Costco, I found some cookies which are made from all natural ingredients. They are made by the "Three Dog Bakery", 1-800-4TREATS, or www.threedog.com- They come in a 4 pound box (three flavors) and smell good enough to eat myself! At any rate, "Hazel" thinks they're wonderful.
Good luck!

MY allergic dogs love fruit (never grapes or raisins which are toxic for dogs). Also dry, uncooked pasta.

I give my dog a fresh raw carrot a few times a week. He loves them. They are good for his teeth & not too fattening.

This all ok with my dog's vet. He loves bananas, carrots, sliced, whole (mini's he is small) or steamed any kind are his fav, cold canned greenbeans, peas, apple pieces. He actually loves these and prefers these snacks, than those full of unpronouncable stuff in them that cost a small fortune.

The only drawback is I can only eat a banana when he is in his kennel sleeping. Otherwise he thinks it is for him. Good luck and sorry to all who have heard. This from me before. :)

I would try the treats by nutro. We had to buy food for our dalmatian who has a very sensitive stomach! They also make dog treats.

My vet suggests replacing dog treats with regular "people" animal crackers. They are low in calorie and most are fat-free. they dogs still have that crunch. He also recommends these treats for pooches with a weight problem. If you think about it, it does make sense.
