Earl Grey Tea Chocolate

This almost isn't a recipe, it's so easy! Squares of Earl Grey Tea Chocolate would make a beautiful gift or addition to a gift basket. Best of all, you can still drink the tea after flavoring the chocolate!

Ingredients:

  • Loose-Leaf Earl Grey tea
  • Dark Chocolate Bar broken into individual squares (Cadbury is excellent)

Directions:

Place chocolate squares -unwrapped of course- in an airtight container (Tupperware or Rubbermaid works well). Cover with loose leaf tea; be generous with tea amount! Remember that you can drink the tea when you are done flavoring the chocolate! Seal container and let sit undisturbed for 48 hours. Taste chocolate for flavor intensity. If pleasing, remove from tea and wrap individually in foil. If not flavored enough, let sit longer.

Other tea flavors would probably work as well; raspberry or orange black teas sound good. Herbal teas don't work!

Servings: 2
Time:10 Minutes Preparation Time
48 Hours Set Time

Source: I'm taking advantage of chocolate's nature to attract flavor.
