If you spread them out on a sheet pan and put it in the freezer, it will freeze them individually. Then scoop them into freezer bags and you can grab as much as you want at any time without having to thaw a whole bag of them.

Thanks for posting this! I was wondering! I love 'stewing' them and having them year round with turkey lunch meat sandwiches with arugula lettuce! They keep forever in their sauce, in a screw top lid jar. (oh, I added a tiny bit of sugar)
