Grocery Salvage Stores in Denver?

I live in Denver also. I shop Sam's, then Walmart Food, then King Soopers. Safeway and Albertsons are both much more expensive. There were a few stores called Save A Lot, but the one by me closed. In the summer, Cherry Creek Shopping Center has a great growers market on Saturday and Wednesday mornings. Good luck and welcome to Denver.

Don't know how close to Brighton you are, but there is a small salvage store there called Rob's.

You may also try Grocery Warehouse, which is owned by Albertsons, but is less expensive. By the way, it is my understanding that Albertsons was sold a couple of weeks ago.

There really aren't any. We used to have Cub Foods, but they closed. Too bad, lots of deals there. Save A Lot sucks, quite frankly. Don't waste your money there!

I heard years ago that the reason prices are higher in Colorado is because Colorado is considered a recreation state, hence we are paying resort prices. Could be a fallacy but sounds pretty reasonable to me.
