Penicillin Pizza for Halloween

Ingredients

  • 6 English muffins, split
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbs. powdered Parmesan cheese
  • yellow, green, and red food coloring

Directions

Split muffins and place on cookie sheet (make sure they don't touch each other). Spoon a thin layer of pizza sauce on top of each. Layer with shredded cheese. Set aside. Pour Parmesan cheese in small bowl and add 5 drops of each food coloring until it's a nice shade of "mold" green. Set aside. Broil pizzas until cheese begins to melt and brown. Remove from oven and let cool 1 minute. Sprinkle mold on top of pizzas and allow to cool slightly before serving.

You can use other toppings on your pizzas too. We make sausage and pepperoni pizzas. One doesn't have to have just a plain cheese pizza to make this.
