Any ideas for creative cookie storage containers for those at the cookie swap?

How about chinese food containers. They sell them at craft stores now and they are not that expensive. Also, Oriental trading company sells them cheap online.

I like corsage bags. You can buy them from the florist quite cheaply. Just fill with cookies, tape the neck shut and tie some ribbon around it.
An empty Pringle's can could be used to stack cookies. Saves them from being crushed and can also be used to freeze partially cooked cookies for later.

I line my old pringles containers with a plastic bag, put in the cookies, seal the bag, snap on the plastic lid, roll the container in brown paper, address, and mail. Keeps the cookies crush-free and makes a thrifty surprise for someone. Lots cheaper than the round mailing tubes that you buy.
Thanks for the advice. I bought some corsage bags for our business and also a vacuum sealer for closing the bag. The bags ship very well and look extremely professional.
I use empty toilet paper rolls for small drop cookies, I tape up ends with duct tape...and I also use clean dog food cans and cover with saran wrap. I use construction paper to cover the cans.
