Marshmallow Ooeys

Base Ingredients

• 2/3 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/3 cup butter or margarine
• 2 squares unsweetened chocolate

• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla

Topping Ingredients

• 4 cups miniature marshmallows
• 1 square semi sweet chocolate
• 1 tsp butter or margarine

Directions

Mix together first 3 ingredients. Set aside. Melt butter and chocolate. Beat in remaining ingredients. Stir in flour mixture. Spread in greased 8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Immediately sprinkle base with marshmallows. Broil until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Melt together chocolate and butter. Drizzle over squares. This is so yummy, we just leave a spoon in it and have a bite every time we pass by! LOL! Bad habit but fun! I use the microwave and a glass measuring cup for melting the chocolate and butter. Works great! Enjoy!
