Ron's Sandwich

When I was a kid, there was nothing better than visiting my birth father Ron, if not for the sandwiches. He was from back East and not sure if this came from him but...

Ingredients

  • Graham Crackers
  • Creamy peanut Butter
  • Marshmallow fluff

Directions

Eat! I've only had a few since being a kid but nothing brings me back to those days more!

Grandmother's Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices of homemade Wheat Bread
  • Mayonaise
  • Slices of Lappi Jack (or Monterey) cheese

Directions

Layer cheese and lots of mayo (Grandmother would spread a bit of butter on bread before) MMM!

This is really good these days with Trader Joe's Poppy seed bread, but because of my lactose intolerance I don't eat it.

The so BAD it's GOOD! Sandwich

This one came from my Mom, it's so BAD for you, it's good!

Lather the PB onto bread, slap on some mayo, soooooo good!

Hello Michawn,
I've been living in Massachusetts for the past 27 years, but, grew up in Rhode Island, and we Rhode Islander's love our "Fluff-A-Nutter Sandwich", it is made with 2 slices of regular white bread, creamy peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff, it must be an eastern thing, I still to this day enjoy a "Fluff-A-Nutter Sandwich" and I'm 52. We also liked to put creamy peanut butter and grape jelly on a Ritz Cracker making a sandwich of sorts. And that Ritz cracker with the peanut butter and jelly brings back many fond memories of my childhood growing up in Rhode Island.

The mayo/peanut better sandwich -- growing up (a long time ago!) was the lunch favorite for my 4 sisters and myself. Your post certainly brought back pleasant memories. Over the years, anytime I mentioned this sandwich, everyone said "yuck"; they had never heard of it. You made my day!
