Flies are biting my dogs, they have a few scabs and sores. Skin So Soft seems to help some, but they rub it off. The outside of their ears are the worst. Any help will be great. Thank you.

I had this problem with my dogs back when I had horses. Horse flies would not only attack my horses but also my dogs. Go to your nearest Co-op store or pet store and purchase fly repellent for horses. I got the spray kind and sprayed all my animals. It worked wonders!
I had 2 outdoor dogs and for whatever reason, the biting flies would bite the ears of one dog and not bother the other. You can get fly ointment from the vet.
Vaseline on the tips and where the flies are biting will discourage them. Put this on them whenever the vaseline goes away. Vaseline is great!

What about adding vinegar to your dogs water, not much, so he will still drink it. Maybe this will help with the flies on dogs.
