Curtis Mathes went out of business years ago. You may find some TV's with that brand name in a Wal Mart or other big box store but it would be made by a no name company. They sold their TV's with the tag "Most expensive TV ever made and darn worth every penny."
Some people loved them and some thought they were just ordinary over priced TV's. I have read in the past Curtis Mathes bought TV components from other big name companies and assembled in to TV's and put the Curtis Mathes name on the TV. You can get my information by googling Curtis Mathes.
