Cheese Has White Edges After Freezing?

I put some slice cheese in the freeze about 4 or 5 months ago in only the store wrapper. The cheese has a white powder on the edges now. Is it okay to use?

Hey, the white stuff is a safe powder substance called cellulose. It is made from a potato starch and is safe to eat.it is put on the cheese to make it not stick together!i just researched this last night myself. LOL.
