Mix all ingredients until a thick batter forms.
Stir in chips,nuts if wanted.
Drop by spoonful onto greased or Pam sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Some combinations we like: choc cake with choc chips, yellow cake with 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1/4 cup raisins, whie cake with almonds and white chocolate chips. I used a funfetti cake mix as is and it made nice sugar cookies.

These are good - but the dough is quite sticky so it's best to chill it in the fridge approx. an hour before handling.
Cake Mix Cookies with Cool Whip
1 18-1/4 ounce box cake mix (your choice of flavor)
1 8 ounce container of Cool Whip
1 egg
Mix all ingredients, chill dough before forming into balls. Then roll in powdered sugar to coat. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, just till cookies are golden brown on the bottom. Cool a bit before removing from pan.

This is one of our favorites and I have a whole book of them given to me by on of my sister-in-laws many years ago.
Double Chocolate Dreams
1 pkg devils food cake mix, or any chocolate variety
2 eggs
1/2 c vegetable oil
2 c choc chips, any variety
1/2 c nuts
Preheat oven to 375. Grease your baking sheets.
In a large mixer bowl combine cake mix, eggs and oil. With a wooden spoon or on low speed of mixer, mix for 1 minute or until well-blended. Dough will be stiff. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 8-12 minutes or until just set. If you like them soft 8-10, crispier 10-12. Cool 1 minute or so on baking sheet then transfer to rack and cool completely.

Makes about 3 dozen decent sized cookies.
A yellow or white cake mix gives this a traditional choc chip cookie look.

Great recipes all of them. I use one box of cake mix, 2 eggs and 1 stick of butter. Mix and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. The best is an orange cake mix with 1 cup white chocolate baking mix. No icing necessary.

Hello, I have an easy recipe that is pretty low fat using a cake mix.
1- carrot or spice cake mix
1- 15oz. of canned pumpkin -not pie mix

Stir these together and drop by small tbsp. on parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. You can flatten them a little with a fork for more even baking. These are chewy and can be quite addictive.
