I agree w/ the post re: importance of a biz name's first letter (at least if you're going to advertise in the Yellow/ White Pages, etc., where people do call the 1st name in the book). Best wishes to you and your new family business! BTW: I, too, own a small cleaning biz. (Snowflake's "Just-4-U" Cleaning Services.) Here are my suggestions: All in the Family; Hand-me-Downs; We Maid it Two; A Clan (Called) Clean; 1-2-WE-CLEAN-4-U!; 2 Moms & a Bucket. =-)

If you are going to advertise in the phone book choose a name that starts with an early letter of the alphabet. It is proven that when people start calling, the early letters get the calls first and the late letters get the leftovers. (04/09/2010)

Use your last name. For "Smith" how about the following:
"Smith Dream Team Clean"
"Smith Generations Clean House"
"Smith Cleaning Services"
"Mother Knows Best" with tag-line "Daughter knows the rest!" (04/10/2010)
