Staple Patches In Place Before Sewing

Staple a patch in a couple of places to the item before sewing. This way, you can check to make sure it is placed correctly and not crooked (scouts, military, etc.) and also it will hold it in place while you sew. Afterwards, just remove staples carefully.

another tennesseen on here great! i use a dot of fabric glue in the center of mine to keep them still until i do the same thing. i find it keeps them from bubbling up later when washed not giving that lumped look in the center.

Wish I had had that tip when I was sewing Boy Scout patches on! Thanks for sharing, and God bless you.

Awesome idea! Now I have no excuse to avoid the job of sewing on those teeny tiny Boy Scout arrow points. Thanks for the tip!
