Controlling Dust on Laminate Floors?

We have laminate flooring and there is so much dust everyday. We clean our filters often, have electric heat, and two pets. I have to vacuum every other day. Can anyone give me idea to control the dust? Thank you.

I use a damp mop. Mix a little pine oil (teaspoon) in a spray bottle (like a Windex bottle), and spray the mop. This works for me.

You could try hepa filters in your heat, ac, and vacuum cleaner. Also, do you live near a gravel road, or burn wood? Along with keeping windows open without screens, those will attract dust.

You may be experiencing "normal" dust. People with carpet don't realize how much dust there is (a large amount of it is dead skin and dander). Carpet hides it, but is also much less healthy as it can become airborne and inhaled.

Adding moisture to the air won't prevent it, but it can help dust settle quicker.
