Balsamic Onions

Adds a tasty zing as a garnish or side for assorted steak, chicken, or pork dishes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large red onion, sliced
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Advertisement

  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley

Directions:

Coat a skillet well with olive oil, add the onions and cook, turning occasionally, for about 8 to 10 minutes or until they are caramelized. Transfer to a bowl and toss with vinegar and parsley.

Mmm that sounds so good and easy enough. I will try it tonight next to our steaks. I love balsamic anything. never thought to try it this way! Thanks!
