Make Hammock from Plastic Soda Rings

At our favorite camping spot, we've constructed a makeshift hammock out of plastic six-pack soda rings! It takes a little while to collect enough of these, but once you do, you can simply tie them together with thin fishing line (or rope), and BAM! A practically "free" hammock for resting tired feet in!

Please remember to dispose of it properly when you are done with it. Cut the circles apart so that small animals can't get their heads trapped in them.

My intention is not to hurt anyone's feelings but the hammock was not free. You paid for the soda which is not a food, has no food value and is even harmful with the high fruictose corn syrup ot diet products in it.

If you did not buy soda you could afford a nice hammock.

re:not buying soda.
That makes a lot of sense, not buying soda. If you don't want to drink soda. And I guess we'd all be better of if we didn't eat or drink anything that was bad for us! But if someone wants to drink soda, why not get some use out of the packaging instead of throwing it away?

And if you are going to drink the soda, you are buying the SODA, and the packaging it comes in is free. Personally, I'd be too afraid to try it for fear it wouldn't hold my weight & I'd end up on the ground! LOL!
