Plastic that Smells Like Gasoline?

I have a plastic race car bed that sat out in the shed for about a year and it now smells like gasoline. I have tried freebreeze, and dawn dishwashing soap but cannot get rid of the smell even after 4 months.

What can I use to get rid of it?

Try scrubbing with a paste of vinegar and washing soda. Washing soda can be found in the laundry section of your grocery store. It is different than baking soda.

If it is plastic you can try washing it in vinegar or lemon water then leaving it outside in a few good hard rains... The acids in teh rain will clean most anything
