Chocolate Bundt Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
  • 1 Tbsp. instant coffee powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large mixing bowl, beat cake mix, water, eggs, orange peel and instant coffee powder until smooth. Spray a bundt pan generously with non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped nuts over bottom of pan, spreading out evenly over the surface. Pour in cake batter and spread evenly. Bake 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Allow cake to cool before removing from pan.

Anything with orange in it gets my vote. This is a delicious-sounding cake Robin. I would have to go the extra mile, and make a "draping glaze" of orange juice, butter and confectioner's sugar for a Christmas dessert table, garnished with my own candied strips of orange peel. I will definitely be making this cake.
