Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large can peaches
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Advertisement

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt margarine in large 9x13 inch casserole. Blend the flour, sugar, baking powder and stir in the milk and vanilla. Pour over melted margarine. Pour peaches over the batter. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over top. Bake 1 hour. Serves 8-12.

I make this same recipe, the only change that i make in mine is to do only 1/2 cup of sugar in batter and no sugar on top. It is sweet enough made this way.

Do the peaches have to be drained before adding to the pan or do you use juice and all? Thanks
