Sugar Free Banana Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup "Equal" Spoonful
  • 2 cups frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
  • Advertisement

  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened red raspberries

Directions:

Combine yogurt, banana, and Equal, in blender or food processor. Cover and blend until smooth. Add half of frozen fruit. Blend until smooth. Repeat with remaining frozen fruit. Serve immediately in tall glasses.

Makes 4 servings.

Better yet, leave out the Equal and enjoy the sugar that nature provided. You can up the banana for a creamier, sweeter smoothie. You don't really need sugar or anything like it when you have fresh/frozen fruit. The yogurt can up the tang, so the extra banana would be a good balance.

Why not throw in a teaspoonful or two of flaxseed meal too, you won't taste it (you will see it) but it's yummy good for you!
