Lint on an Acrylic Jacket?

How can I remove lint from an acrylic jacket? I washed the jacket with a bath mat and lint from the mat got onto the jacket inside and out. I tried scotch tape, package tape and rewashing, nothing removed the lint. Any ideas?

I keep a single or double blade disposable razor for "shaving" lint pills. It will remove the ones the tape leaves behind.

Rewash with a cup of vinegar in the rinse. Wash it alone.

Have you tried a lint brush? Also you might want to get one of those lint or pill shavers.

I guess you already figured out, DO NOT wash your jacket with towels again but don't wash anything else with towels. I learned that the hard way, towels get lint on anything else washed with them.

Also wash like colors of towels together. I do believe that lint staying on clothes is worse these days due to newer washers not having a lint filter like they used to!

Go to sweaterstone.com. You get a block of stuff that looks like black styrofoam. It works great on sweaters, wool coats, fleece, etc.
