Hi,

We made apple cider this year for our Christmas get-together and my husband bought two huge jugs of apple-cider and dumped them in a stock pot and added a few cinnamon sticks and turned on low. The kids and adults both loved it!

In the past, we have also used plain apple juice and added cinnamon sticks to that.

Hi,
Here is a link to mine. It is good with or without the caramel and inexpensive.

In a slow cooker, add one gallon of apple cider and a half bag of cinnamon imperial candies. Cook on low. Candies will give a cinnamon flavor as well as make the punch a pretty color.

In addition to adding cinnamon sticks to apple cider I like to slice up one fresh orange and put it in the crockpot too. Rinds and all. Adds a nice "orangey" taste and smells really good.

A way to stretch the cider is to brew up some apple cinnamon herbal tea and add it to the cider in the crock pot. It tastes great and smells great that way.
