I use vinegar and water on a soft cloth. Just wet until damp. Not too much water.

I just got Martha Stewart's Homekeeping Handbook and that is what she recommends. 1 cup of vinegar to 1 gallon of water.

You can clean it with pretty much anything. I've used Pinesol, vinegar, Mr. Clean, etc. Mix with water and mop away. Don't believe all the crap from the company that sold you the wood. They want you to buy their products, which cost way more.

Regular cleaners don't do any damage. My husband has been doing floors for over 20 years and his family for 60, and there's been no problems with them yet!
