Does anyone have instructions for making a smocking pleater thread box or caddy? I would like to make one for my new pleater.

This is the setup I use and it works really well.
My SIL has her pleater mounted to a piece of wood. Opposite the pleater she drilled holes and glued in pieces of dowel rods to hold the spools.
