Hydrogen Peroxide Grout Remover

To clean icky grout, pour hydrogen peroxide on grout, and watch it bubble. After about ten minutes all the gunk will be loosened and will wipe away. And you don't have to be exposed to fumes or irritating and highly toxic chemicals. You can also use vinegar and baking soda, but this is easier. By Linda

Hydrogen Peroxide Stain Remover

Keep a bottle of hydrogen peroxide by your washer and spray it on stains before washing. It works great on baby formula stains and underarm stains. Some sprayers will fit on in place of the peroxide cap so you do not even need to change bottles. **NEVER use peroxide on wool, silk or dry-clean only clothing. If you are worried about color fastness, test on a little spot inside the hem of the garment where it won't show.

Make your own fabric softener sheets.

Take an old towel and soak it in liquid fabric softener. Wring it out good, pour the liquid fabric softener back into the bottle and let the towel dry before using. This "sheet" should last you at least 40 loads of laundry. One bottle of liquid fabric softener should last years. By Connie from Minnesota

Making Febreeze Type Fabric Freshener & Wrinkle Releaser

I love the smell of Febreeze but can't stand the price so I searched for an online equivalent which I can not take credit for but will gladly share. Go to any local store and take the caps off the liquid fabric softener, sniff away till you find one you like. Purchase the softener and a spray bottle.
