Have you check for something left in the washer? Could be a crayon or something in it, good luck.

I just recently read about mold problems in front loaders so that might be what is causing the stains. Here are some general information and troubleshooting links:

I have this same problem. My GE front loader from Sears has ruined many clothes. They are coming out with dark black stains, mostly baby items, which I think may be getting caught or rubbed up against the rubber seals area. I have used bleach/water with a scrub brush to scrub the black, mold? off the seals near the drum and also used many cleaning tablets. The repair guy thinks this is the problem, but I have scrubbed it before. He also said that there could be a build up under the drum that you can't see so hopefully the tablets loosened that. I'm using the all natural ECOS detergent and I'm wondering if that's causing a build up? Any suggestions, anyone?
