How many servings of lasagna will I get from a pan 20 3/4 inches x 12 13/16 inches x 3 3/8 inches, if I want a 4 inch serving?

You don't need to be concerned about the depth. The area of the pan 20 3/4 by 12 13/16 is 265 39/64 square inches. The area of the 4 inch square piece of lasagna 16 square inches. Forget the 39/64 inches as we don't have to be that exact. Divide the 16 inches into the 265 inches and you get 16 pieces, 4 inches square and each piece will be 3 3/8 inches deep. If you round the size of the pan to 12 by 20 inches, which will make it easier for you to cut each piece, you will get 15 pieces. Just measure every 4 inches on the 20 inch side and 4 inches on the 12 inch side.

I agree with foxrun41. Four goes into twelve three times. Four goes into twenty five times. 3 X 5 = 15. So fifteen 4" pieces per pan.

20 pieces...5 longways - 20 inches x 4 crossways - 12 inches, so total would be 5x4 = 20 pieces.
