Using Painter's Wax to Refinish Furniture?

I am interested in painting my bedroom furniture to give it a new look. I was reading about a product called Painter's Wax. How do you use it and where can I find it? What type of results can I expect to get? Thank you!

Clear combination of natural waxes to enhance, enrich, restore and protect. Won't fade or yellow as it protects your painted surface. Smoothes and toughens the varnish. Keeps painted pieces from sticking together. Provides an abrasion resistant water repellent barrier to damage. Apply wax with #0000 grade steel wool and then buff with soft cloth.
