Video: Chow Chows Playfighting

Two dogs, chow chows, playfight and goof around in their back yard.

Two dogs are better than one when it comes to playing. If you have one dog, you may want to have two! two can play together like no humans can.

Chows who have calm temperments are dream companion pets: they love car rides, are neat and tidy, never mess in the house, don't destroy things, love to lay at your feet and are content with a couple leisurely walks a day. They are very friendly and unneedy; don't have separation anxiety, etc.

If you like this video, please volunteer, adopt, or donate to your local chow chow rescue! Chows make wonderful pets and companions, given the love and guidance they deserve.

I wish you had linked back to the chow rescue site!
plus given author credit, but thanks, maybe more chows will get adopted because of this exposure. oh well...

Editor's Note: This was our first Google video and we just published the information they provided. Thanks for letting us know where it is from. We're all for Chow rescue or rescue of any animals. Our Maggie was rescued through PNW Chow Rescue in Oregon. She's a chow mix. She's been a wonderful dog and is a family member.

I've added your links. Thanks for helping to rescue pets.

That is one of the cutest things I've ever seen! Those dogs are precious. I have a golden retriever/chow and the way the one was playing with the squirrel (I think) looked just like my dog playing with his favorite toy, a quacking duck. My dog, Ringo, also lies on his belly with his feet tucked behind him like that.

Ringo looks more like a golden retriever, but I am around a lot of golden retrievers and their personalities are much calmer than Ringo's. I haven't been around many chow chows but after seeing this video I see that Ringo definitely resembles Chow more as far as his demeanor and habits. I want a chow chow now!

I just read your description. Ringo is very friendly but he isn't nice to strangers. He doesn't bite or growl but he barks until he feels comfortable. He doesn't mess in the house but he does destroy things. He doesn't as much as he did when he was a little younger but he destroys all toys.

He loves to lay right on top of my feet. He isn't a brreze to walk. He weighs about 70 pounds and eh pretty much just walks me. He LOVES car rides. He has been from Georgia to Minnesota twice! The picture is actually him asleep in his own seat on the trip.
