We have a palm bush (not palmetto) that we have had for several years. We keep it indoors during the winter and set it outdoors during the late spring, summer, and early fall. We water it, then let it dry out before watering again.
This past summer and still now (it has been inside for about a month) its fronds have turned an unhealthy-looking yellow and/or brown. It just looks unhealthy. What can we do to get it back to a healthy-looking green?

A fertilizer mixture of NPK in the amounts of 3-1-3 or 15-5-15 is ideal for the Palm Tree species. In addition to these elements, adding the proper amounts of magnesium and calcium are also imperative to the healthy and thriving growth of the palm tree. These micro-elements are delivered to the plant in much smaller quantities, but are still an essential additive to the health of the plant.
