Use Blueprint Storage Box For Fabric Rolls

Most of the fabric I purchase is on bolts that are 54 inches long and difficult to store. I found a cardboard blueprint storage box at Staples and now all my bolts are stored on end. They stay neat, don't fall all over the place and I can easily view the fabrics.

What a neat idea! That would be helpful for those of us who do a lot of sewing or quilting.

The problem with that is that storing fabric upright ruins/distorts the grain of the fabric. Fabric is best stored on its side or laying down.
