After cleaning your stainless steel, smear on some baby oil with a dry cloth. The stains will be easier to remove in future.

WD 40 works too but I bet baby oil is much less expensive. Thanks, will try.
We use food grade mineral oil inside and out of the pan.
Would this work on a refrigerator or would it leave a film?
