Dose anyone know how to get rust off metal cookie cutters? Thanks.

Ball up some Alfoil (Aluminum wrap) run under the tap then rub the cutter with it. I have removed rust of chrome lots of times but have to admit haven't used it on cookie cutters. It may work and if not no harm done.
