Freezing Chiles

When using part of a can of chipotle chiles with adobo sauce, simply spread the remainder into a quart size Ziploc bag, and freeze flat in the freezer. When frozen, simply break off what is needed for your recipe, and refreeze. Lasts for several months.

I love it. One tiny can of adobo is pretty strong for any one recipe. I do exactly the same with my basil pesto. "Fresh" basil all winter long! Break off a piece, and back into the freezer with the rest!
