Removing Hairspray from LCD TV Screen?

I believe LCD screens are made of plastic and hairspray has alcohol in it, alcohol etches into plastic, I am not sure it can be helped. This is why manufacturers recommend not using anything on the screens except a dry cloth or a cloth slightly moistened with water.

Used SEE THROO digital screen cleaner using a microfiber cloth.

Got rid of the hairspray residue!!!!!
Did not damage the LCD SCREEN AT ALL

 

Use hot water on a soft rag that is rung nearly dry. Carefully wash about 1/3 of the screen carefully then with a soft dry rag dry that part of the screen. Repeat that process for the rest of the screen. Be careful not to get water on the edge of the screen where it might get inside

Be careful not to get water on the edge of the screen where it might get inside or behind the screen. Polish the clean screen with a very soft lint-free cloth.
