Use Aluminum Foil as Scouring Pads

Save your used aluminum foil. It can be used as a scouring pad, Just take a piece and wad it up. Then start scouring pots and pans with it.

Editor's Note: This is a good use for used aluminum foil, just don't use it on your nonstick pans, it might scratch them.

Well now, there's a new wrinkle.Great idea ! ..I have used foil crinkled up and laid slightly flat again for broiling. It helps to keep fats away from meats and juices from fish.

Wadded up aluminum foil and CocaCola instead of water can be used to remove and electroplate rust spots on anything from plumbing hardware, galvanized tubs and buckets, fence and gate hardware, etc. The result is not as bright as chrome, but blends in fairly well, and it will stop any rust from ever occurring in that spot again.

After using to bake potatoes or cover things in the oven, I rinse off and store until I can use for filling holes under my sink, or anywhere else. My kitten also loves to play with a wadded up ball of it. Thanks for these new ideas!!!!

I used crumbled up foil to clean my barbecue grill before I use it.
